Hey everyone! It’s has seriously been a WHILE since I’ve last blogged.

I have been keeping the site under construction, which was pretty much a ‘hiatus’. My site was getting me depressed. My graphic design style had changed and I was stuck Ducky Haven¹. Sure it was ok, but I mean-I only drew two ducks. >___<

Just recently, I have been working on this layout. This is a very special layout, considering it’s my 10th! To celebrate my 10th layout, I converted from FRAMES to DIVS-which was something totally new for me to learn! Not only that…Samier.org is officially running on Wordpress…completely! It was tricky, but I finally got it to work! I don’t regret at all. I’ve been trying to create my own theme for such a long time!

The process in creating this layout included:

Drawing the header
Creating the layout and merging the header
Converting to Wordpress (has a lot of step to it)
Tweaking with the css
Moving all Wordpress files to the root directory

More about the layout. This layout features a little OC named Lixon²

I’d like to thank Lisa @ cherry.nu for being so patient and caring. She assisted me whether it was her tutorials or chatting on Twitter! Thanks Lisa <3

iPad

Omg. Omg. Omg. Has anyone seen the iPad? I just found out about it today! It’s basically a big iPhone-almost a portable computer. Smaller than a laptop too! It’s really compact so you can take it anywhere and fit your lifestyle. Not to mention, it’s incredibly thin. You have to understand-I am an APPLE FANATIC. I own an iPhone and MacBook, even the email! I used to own the Shuffle and Nano too…

The unfortunate part is that it runs on applications-just like the iPhone. So techinically, you really can’t run the programs you use on the Mac. I have a feeling that more innovated apps will become available, providing much flexibility.

Fruits Basket

I’m sure you’ve all heard of Fruits Basket…right? (AKA Furuba). Honestly, I own lots of volumes from this series–sadly, I haven’t read any of them until now! Currently, I’m on volume three! In this blog post, I’ll be giving a little background on this common manga–if you haven’t read it before! Please feel free to give your opinion and perspectives on this series ^0^

Fruits basket is about a girl named Tohru Honda, an innocent girl who lost her mother, Kyoko, in a car accident. After living in the forest for a while, long story short, Tohru began her life in a house owned zodiac family known as the Sohma. In the house she lives with Kyo the cat, Yuki the rat, and Shigure the dog. This family is unique, obviously since they contain powers of the zodiac. Any time the members of the family are hugged by the opposite gender, they revert to their animal symbol. What’s really cool is that the book intertwines the zodiac and humans together. Not to mention, this book is written by the author of Tsubasa. If you haven’t read Tsubasa, you HAVE to. It contains characters from Cardcaptors.

My Three Blogs

Hey everybody! I am so sorry I haven’t been posting for a while! The reason being–I have three different blogs! Crazy, right? I guess I am just obssesed with domains and blogs. You’ll be pleased to know I have been improving my artwork too! ^0^ My famous quote, “Is it an addiction, or a passion?”

It took me a while to organize too! There are just so many options on the computer and many more methods of accomplishing them. In short, I hope you’ll bare with me as I continue to find out my ways of doing so

As always, I love comments. I have been busy with my artwork, rather than updating the layout. But be aware-many changes have been made. I just haven’t mentioned them! For one, my find me page has been updated extremely!

I’d also like to mention again, that my artwork style has been changing. I’m getting into making line art and going through the process of coloring and shading. It’s really fun, and I’m glad I discovered this method.

See what I mean? It’s something I enjoy, so I hope you’ll enjoy it too <3

Has anyone heard of this site? It’s basically where you create an account, and anybody on the internet will be able to ask questions. You can choose to delete questions or answer them, so there is no pressure! I can tell this will be a very a big site, so be sure to sign up right now to get a cool username! I hate when a username is taken…

And if you’re like me, always closing accounts, they do have an option to disable the account in the settings. This means, if you don’t like it, just delete it There really is no harm ^-^;
